Kripa is a devotional application that provides aartis, bhajans, mantras, live wallpapers, devotional ringtones, shareable status and daily rashifal. Kripa is owned and operated by Dogster Technologies Private Limited ("the Company", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information when you use the Service, and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2.1 Profile information

If you choose to sign in, you may provide information such as your name and phone number (or email). Optional information may include a profile photo and your chosen display name. If you do not provide the required information, some features may be unavailable.

2.2 Content you create

When you create a shareable devotional status, the name and photo you add are used to personalise your image. This status content is generated and stored on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Content you choose to share is sent by you, through the app you select (for example WhatsApp).

2.3 App preferences

Your chosen language, favourites and settings are stored locally on your device to remember how you like to use Kripa.

2.4 Usage data

We may automatically collect information such as your device type and identifiers, operating system, app version, screens visited, and other diagnostic data to keep the app running reliably.

2.5 Information collected through your device (with permission)

With your prior permission, Kripa may access certain device features to provide specific functions. You can enable or disable these permissions at any time through your device settings:

• Photos / Storage: tolet you add your own photo to a status and to save a status image or wallpaper to your gallery. Used only when you choose to.
• Modify system settings: toset a devotional tone as your ringtone, alarm or notification sound when you tap "Set".
• Set wallpaper: toapply a static or live wallpaper you select.
• Internet: toload content and, where applicable, to sync your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service: including delivering devotional content and core features such as wallpapers, ringtones, jaap and status.
• To manage your account: to register and authenticate you and give you access to features.
• To personalise your experience: to remember your language, favourites and settings, and to personalise the status you create.
• To communicate with you: to send service, transactional and (where permitted) promotional communications by push notification, email or similar channels.
• For safety, compliance and abuse prevention: to detect, prevent and respond to fraud, misuse, security incidents, unlawful activity and legal or regulatory requirements.
• For business and analytics purposes: including analysing usage trends and measuring the effectiveness of our features.
• For business transfers: to evaluate or conduct a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of assets.

4. India-Specific Data Protection Safeguards

For users in India, we intend to process Personal Data in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. To the extent applicable we will endeavour to follow these safeguards:

• Notice and consent: we process Personal Data for lawful purposes described in this Policy, based on your consent or another lawful basis.
• Purpose limitation: we use Personal Data only for the purposes described in this Policy.
• Data minimization: we endeavour to collect only information relevant to the Service.
• Reasonable security: we use reasonable technical, organizational and administrative safeguards to protect Personal Data.
• Access controls: internal access is limited to personnel and Service Providers who need it, subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Grievance redressal: you may contact our Grievance Officer using the details in the "Contact Us" section; we will endeavour to respond within the timelines required under applicable Indian law.
• Consent withdrawal, correction and deletion: you may request access, correction, updating or deletion of your Personal Data, or withdrawal of consent, subject to identity verification, technical feasibility and legal retention obligations. We do not sell your Personal Data, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. We may share information in the following situations:

• With Service Providers: to host, store, process, secure, analyse and operate the Service on our behalf.

• With affiliates: who are required to honour this Privacy Policy.
• For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to valid requests by public authorities, enforce our terms, and protect the rights, property or safety of the Company, our users or the public.

6. Retention

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Most of your data (preferences and the status you create) stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information for analytics and product improvement where it does not reasonably identify you.

Your information may be processed in India or in other jurisdictions where our Service Providers or infrastructure are located, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Policy, followed by your submission of information, represents your agreement to such transfer. We take steps reasonably necessary to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

The security of your Personal Data is important to us, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your Personal Data, we will take steps we consider appropriate under applicable law.

Kripa is a family-friendly devotional app. In India, if you are under 18 years of age, you should use the Service only with the verifiable consent and supervision of your parent or lawful guardian, where required. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children without required parental or guardian consent. If you believe a child has provided us Personal Data without such consent, please contact us and we will take the steps required under applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page, update the "Last updated" date, and, where appropriate, notify you within the app before the change becomes effective. Changes are effective when posted.
